The Junior Deacon

The Junior Deacon plays an important role in supporting Lodge operations and maintaining proper communication and security.

He assists the Senior Deacon, carries messages between officers when required, and works closely with the Tyler to ensure the Lodge is properly guarded from intrusion.

During meetings and degree work, the Junior Deacon helps guide candidates and supports the smooth flow of ritual.

Stationed near the door, his role symbolises vigilance, readiness, and faithful service, reminding the brethren of the importance of duty and awareness within the Lodge.
